DD came home extra hungry today from school. She started with a chopped red pepper and mini pitas with red pepper hummus to dip them in. Then a sliced apple. When I started worrying about her eating her dinner she asked if they could have popcorn instead......Oh alright! I recently acquired an old popcorn maker to rid our home of those nasty teflon encrusted microwave popcorn bags, and just happened to buy some loose popcorn today! Here is the result!
Not too shabby! The kids thought all the popping corn was hilarious and I can see this being a regular treat now. Just add some cartoons and.....
Mama has time to write her blog! Ohh and no dishes to wash. Its a shame that I really don't like popcorn all that much. I'm not a fan of the bits that get shoved into your teeth.

The old poppers are the best, I wish I'd kept mine... We've been through about three of the new ones in the last year alone, they keep dying!

mmmm popcorn! We love our popcorn around here. The more butter the better LOL. We have a really cool popcorn maker around here. Maybe one of these days I'll have to share ours!
That looks so yummy! I JUST told my husband over the weekend that I want to stop buying microwave popcorn. We have to get a popper though.

Ever tried JiffyPop? I tried if a few months ago, for the first time. Thought my arm would fall off. Then wished it would, it ached so bad. And the popcorn sucked. Also, I kept expecting the phone to ring and a murdered to be on the other line. I hate horror films. Sigh.
I swore the Popcorn machine was called the Popcorn Pimper... Argh - need my eyes checked ... :p
